Who is eligible for the FLF program?

Anyone who's household income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2010. See the chart on the right...

Can I use insurance?

No. This program is for those who are uninsured or under-insured. The payment to Bare Medicine must be at the time of service and paid by check, cash or credit card (Visa/Mastercard).

How much does it cost?

This program provides a 30-45 minute visit with Dr Kristen McElveen for the price of $40. This price does not include any supplements, medications or extra services provided. 

How long is the visit?

For a new patient, seeing Dr McElveen for the first time, the visit will be approximately 45 minutes. Please take the time to fill out our intake form* and FLF Application* ahead of time so we can focus on you!

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes. We do need to see proof of income in order for you to be eligible. Please download the application* to see what qualifies as proof.

When can I schedule an appointment?

This program takes place at Bare Medicine in the Gate of Hope Holistic Center in Springvale, Maine on the first and last Fridays of the month. When calling for an appointment, please state that you are making an appointment for the FLF Program.
